Welcome to the Blue Knights, Wisconsin Chapter II Web Page.

It has been some time since I last put my fingers to the key board to tell you about our club. We are now working on our sixth year as a club and the future look bright and full of fun and great rides ahead.

For many of you that have supported us in our fund raising efforts, you have seen a change in our beneficiary with our last poker run. We as a club spoke about what we do for a living and what ways we can support our community. After much brain storming and research we found a cause that really hit our heart, Children. Many of us know of the stories about abused and sexually abused children and the need for a support network to get these victims help and get them back on a road to recovery.

What we looked for was a group that works with law enforcement via a referral system from law enforcement. With that referral BACA can go out to a family and offer the support and friendship and love and aid in that road to recovery from such tragic events. It is with that goal we chose Bikers against Child Abuse. BACA as we know them is a national group founded to help protect and advocate for the rights and recovery of the victims and families after the courts and law enforcement have fulfilled their rolls in the justice system. You can learn more about them off the BACA web site. All members of BACA go through a full back round check before being accepting into BACA. Members from BACA come from all walks of life and have a deep and urgent desire to help the victims in time of crisis.

As for our clubs future adventures, I will be off to the spring GLRC in Grand Isle, NY.

Where I will place a bid to host the 2008 Spring GLRC. This is an event that we’re calling 2 N 8, Wisconsin II in 2008. Catchy I thought.

You can also find us this summer at the International 2007 in Milwaukee, WI. We will be just hanging around and looking for rides to go on with old and new friends and show our support for the host, Milwaukee’s own Wisconsin VI.

We also hold our fund raiser right after the International wraps up, so we hope many of you that are staying over a few days will take that 1 hour ride west and join us on our poker run and enjoy the beauty of south central Wisconsin.
